Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I make a purchase on Dovecot Studios Online Shop?
Once you find an item you would like to purchase, select it and click ‘Add to basket’. Click on the basket to review the products selected. You can adjust quantities and remove any unwanted items before ‘Checkout’. If you wish to continue shopping just click on ‘continue shopping’ or click on ‘Checkout’ to proceed with your order.

2. How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat-rate of £4 for each order. Currently we only ship to the UK. There is no charge to collect items in person.

3. How soon can I get my order?
We aim to dispatch items within 3-4 working days after the order is accepted. At this moment we are only shipping to the UK.

4. Can I pick my item up in person?
Normally you are welcome to collect the item in person, or to send along someone to pick up the item on your behalf, however, due to current Government guidance we cannot offer collection at this time.

When it is safe for us to facilitate collection again, you will be required to show ID when collecting the item and it will be available for collection between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday at Dovecot Studios, 10 Infirmary Street EH1 1LT. We are happy to hold items after purchasing, given a reasonable amount of time, until you are able to collect.

5. Can my order be delivered to an alternative address?
Absolutely! We understand that you might be purchasing a gift, and you can select an address different to your billing address for delivery when you make a purchase.

6. Can I return an item for shop credit or a gift card?
We are unable to offer any gift cards or shop credit. We will issue you a refund for the full amount of the item, or happily replace the item if requested in accordance with our Returns policy in our Terms & Conditions.

7. Can I change my delivery address after I have confirmed my order?
Please e-mail info@dovecotstudios.com immediately, quoting your order number and the correct delivery address. We will make every effort to alter the address before the item is despatched, but cannot make any changes to an already dispatched item.

8. How do I cancel an order?
Please e-mail info@dovecotstudios.com immediately, quoting your order number. If the item has already been dispatched, you will need to follow our returns policy in our Terms and Conditions.

9. What do I do if my order arrives damaged or faulty?
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be faulty, please contact us immediately so that we can arrange a replacement. We would appreciate if you could return it to us in the original packaging.

10. What payment cards are accepted on Dovecot Studios Shop website?
We accept most major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

11. Is it safe to use my credit card on Dovecot Studios Shop website?
All sensitive information such as credit card details, your name and address are encrypted. This means that information that passed between your computer and our website cannot be read even in the event that it is intercepted by someone else. We also do not store your information beyond fulfilling your order.

12. Will my order include a sales receipt?
Yes, a sales receipt is enclosed with all orders prior to dispatch for your records.
