Kids Workshop: Build Your Own Beanie
Couldn't load pickup availability
Learn to make a beanie this autumn with Puzzleware Designer Maija Nygren.
This half term, your child can create a warming beanie to cosy up for the autumn, whilst learning lots of lifelong skills. Dexterity skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and 3D thinking are all involved in making clothing.
Your child will learn to construct their own beanie with knitted panels and a tapestry needle.
Each element of the beanie will have a customizable colour to pick from so each child will leave the class with a beanie that they will be itching to wear.
Your child will leave the class with sewing knowledge, a constructed beanie and pompom.
This class is suitable for children ages 5 – 11 years Old.
Please note children aged 5 - 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 7 and over can attend by themselves but adults are invited to join at the end.
About the materials
Knitted parts are made on an elbow-powered knitting machine in our Edinburgh studio. We assemble all kits by hand in our studio and use no plastic in our packaging.
Aftercare: Hand wash woollen parts in lukewarm water, squeeze dry gently and lay flat on a towel to dry.
