Kate has combined her experience as a paper artist with recent training at The Fan Museum in Greenwich and with Master Fan Maker Frédérick Gay to create a bespoke workshop which brings together traditional fan making skills and contemporary paper folding techniques. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFan Making has been identified as a critically endangered craft in the UK by the Heritage Craft Association and the class will start with a short presentation about fan making, its history and how they are used in period costume for film, television and theatre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePaper, sets of fan sticks and all equipment are included.
