2025 marks a century since the four artists FC Cadell, JD Fergusson, SJ Peploe, GL Hunter, known as the Scottish Colourists, exhibited together as a quartet for the first time in London. Alice Strang, Curator of the National Galleries of Scotland’s Scottish Colourist series of exhibitions, will discuss the ebb and flow of their individual and group reputations in the intervening years, not least in light of their positioning within British art history in Dovecot's exhibition, The Scottish Colourists: Radical Perspectives.
Entry to The Scottish Colourists: Radical Perspectives is included in the price of this ticket, access to the exhibition will be from 16:30, before the talk starts at 17:30.
