Christmas Card Linocut | 6th November 2026

Rosanna is a Northern Irish printmaker and illustrator based in Edinburgh. Working in linocut, she has a graphic and illustrative style that explores line, pattern and flat colour. She creates a variety of prints including single-colour illustrative prints as well as complex and detailed jigsaw or reduction prints, often characterised by bold colour palettes. She loves to explore the narratives that can be found in our surroundings and everyday life, with a light hearted approach. She hopes her prints tell stories about our relationships with nature and animals, people and our surroundings.

Rosanna has been teaching workshops for 3 years from her studio in Abbeyhill.

This workshop is suitable for beginners or for people who have done some printmaking before. We will make a festive design that would be suitable for printing onto a card or wrapping paper.

She will have some pre-prepared designs for you to work from, or you are welcome to bring your own to discuss and adapt for lino.

What the class involves:

A run through on lino cut technique
Printing and pressing
Includes 6 cards and envelopes
