Dovecot: Garvald Bobbins

Dovecot bobbins are turned by members of Garvald Edinburgh and made from offcuts of larger projects undertaken in their impressive wood working studio. Each bobbin is hand-cut, shaped, and finished at their Gorgie workshop and have proudly been used to weave every single project at Dovecot since 2017.

No two bobbins are alike in shape, colouring or size, though most average 2cm at their widest point and are roughly 12cm long.
