Wildflower Embroidery | 10th October 2026

Learn to stitch this wildflower design with Sammy from Paraffle! 

In this workshop, you'll be guided through the basics of embroidery, before learning a range of stitches to create this floral design. Covering knots, filler stitches, padding, and more over the course of 5 hours, you'll have time to practice each new technique.

All of the necessary materials will be provided at the workshop. By the time it finishes, you'll know all of the techniques necessary to finish the wildflower design -and to stitch more of your own embroidered creations!

This workshop is aimed at stitchers with a small amount of embroidery experience - but ambitious beginners are also welcome. 

Sammy Bishop founded Paraffle in Edinburgh, in 2016. Originally embroidering as a hobby, she began designing her own patterns while completing a PhD at Edinburgh University, before creating her own kits. She still lives in Edinburgh, and runs regular embroidery workshops, as well as selling her kits online and at the Tron Kirk market on the Royal Mile.
