The Manx Log Cabin is a form of patchwork unique to the makers on the Isle of Man. It is all hand stitched using your hands as the measurements for the block size and the fabric strips. Based on the classic log cabin blocks of American quilts you will learn how to make this versatile block.
Lucy Engels is a modern quilter and visual artist based in Edinburgh. Originally trained as a print designer Lucy uses her knowledge of colour and pattern to create contemporary quits that have been given huge recognition in the quilting community. you can find out more about Lucy’s work here.
